Production Planning Supervisor

Job Summary
Develop and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity. Coordinate with procurement, inventory control, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements while maintaining accurate records and KPIs. Supervise production staff, providing leadership, training, and support to foster accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, SCM, sales, and 3PL partners to align schedules with customer orders and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Master or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or similar role
- Strong understanding of production workflows, materials planning (MRP), and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., SAP (preferable Key User Level), MS Office package)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with Kaizen and Lean principles/methodologies
- Knowledge of the English language for communication with internal and external organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Master or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- 1+ year in a supervisory or team lead position preferred
- Dutch is a plus
