Job Summary
Recruit and schedule donors via telephone in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. Verify donor eligibility in DoVac and Vista before scheduling appointments in donor scheduling software. Monitor the daily appointment schedule across all fixed site centers to ensure adequate donor numbers meet collection goals. Maintain positive public relations with donors, patrons, and co-workers while organizing workload to meet deadlines. This on-site role at our Woodruff Road location supports our mission to save lives through community blood donation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Possesses the aptitude for continued skill development
- Lifting up to 25 pounds
- Sitting, standing, or walking for an extended period
- Bending and twisting
