Job Summary
Production Planning Manager: lead monthly S&OP to reconcile demand with plant capacity and create a 12-month rolling production plan; manage Master Scheduling; perform high-level capacity modeling; oversee complex co-packing and 3PL fulfillment; mentor junior planners; standardize planning SOPs; serve as SME for ERP/MRP optimization; develop real-time dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau) for production variance, labor efficiency, and materials yields; drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma (Kaizen, SMED, DMAIC); collaborate with Sales and Operations to balance profitability and stability; required experience in food manufacturing and third-party fulfillment; degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management; 5–7 years in manufacturing with progression from tactical to strategic roles; salary $100,000–$115,000 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing
- Deep expertise in Food Manufacturing (FSMA, SQF, HACCP compliance) and Third-Party Fulfillment
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred but not required)
- Masters/MBA is a plus
