Job Summary
Develop and manage production forecasts based on the master plan to define requirements aligned with plant capacity. Adjust plans for demand changes, communicate updates, and resolve daily production line disruptions. Produce revenue investigations, annual operating plans, and special studies for cost reduction. In charge of implementing production control functions including Master Scheduling, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching. Develop material planning models to optimize inventory positions and approve quantities for material control. Interface with customers, purchasing, and senior management to ensure delivery dedications and expediting problem parts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years progressive responsibility in production control and planning or related area, including supervision
- Basic people and/or process management skills
