Job Summary
Production Planning ERP Solution Architect is responsible for all ERP Digital activities for Production Planning (MPS, MRP, Work Order Creation/Execution, Production Activity Control) across Airbus North America. Acts as Regional L3 Resolver providing technical and functional expertise for the ERP Core Solution, leading deployment and stabilization of the global template tailored to regional footprint and Production Planning needs. Drives continuous improvement of Production Planning products/services and ensures alignment with the Group Information Solutions standards. Manages cross-functional teams, backlog, stakeholder priorities, and end-user training; collaborates with global Airbus Digital Operations solutions and IM Governance. Required: Master’s Degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of manufacturing ERP development/support and 10+ years of project management experience, 2-5 years of people management, SAP PP/DS/MM/S/4HANA/MES/IBP experience, UAT/BAT and cutover experience, ability to work in a changing environment, travel up to 10%, strong communication in English (French preferred). Remote/hybrid work is supported; primary locations in Mobile, AL and Grand Prairie, TX; relocation not specified as a benefit.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 10 years of experience in application development and support in the manufacturing environment
- At least 10 years of Project Management experience in the manufacturing environment
- At least 2-5 years of experience in people management (or equivalent proven records within project organization)
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs (e.g., ARP, S/4HANA migration)
- Experience with SAP Production Planning modules (PP/DS/IBP/MM) and related solutions
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, MES, and related Advanced Planning Systems; ability to lead UAT/BAT and cutover activities
- Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
- English required; French preferred
- Master Degree in related fields; SAP Certification preferred
