Production Planning Coordinator (On-Site Position)

Job Summary
Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize productive capacity. Order and manage raw material purchases to ensure availability for plant production. Assist the Production Manager with shift planning, personnel management, and developing schedules to improve efficiency. Provide order status updates to sales and support teams. Review job tickets against requirements using material requirement planning reports. Monitor production reports, correct errors, and oversee monthly inventory physical counts. Communicate unsafe practices to ensure safety policy compliance and support SQF and food safety standards. Motivate critical personnel to exceed internal goals and complete shipping information during order reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years required
- Computer Proficiency is a must
- College degree or technical school
- operations management or supply chain
- Attention to Details - must be able to understand the end-to-end customer experience
- Experience and training in Continuous Improvement/LEAN principles - preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google Suites is preferred
- Technical Proficiency - ERP Systems experience is a plus
- Candidate must be able to learn the manufacturing concepts & existing ERP system functionalities

- Experience and supervision preferred, but not required
- Experience and training in Continuous Improvement/LEAN principles - preferred
