Job Summary
Schedules and coordinates production orders, materials, and capacity to meet customer forecasts and shipping dates. Draws master schedules, assembles work order packets, and audits production processes to ensure proper sequencing and lead times. Computes material requirements, monitors manufacturing transactions, and expedites operations to correct delays or unforeseen conditions. Coordinates with the manufacturing floor, Team Leads, and vendors to resolve issues, while analyzing engineering change forms and communicating requirements. Maintains inventory records, requisitions, and material delivery logs to support the production plan and track key metrics like cycle time.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in related field
- Maintains general level of understanding of technical product and process knowledge
- Possesses an advanced understanding of MRP (material requirements planning) tools and techniques
- Moderate proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook and MFGPro
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
