Production Planning Control Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate the whole supply chain planning and production planning workflow, including sale and operations plans for inventory and capacity. Manage material planning, demand planning, and production planning for designated production lines while developing strategies aligned with corporate business goals. Monitor actual performance against objectives via weekly/monthly reports, prepare gap analyses, and execute corrective actions. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Finance teams to ensure service excellence and cost control. Maintain optimal inventory levels, update forecast demand, and lead issue alerts per SOP requirements. Direct SML activities, maintain planning automation systems, and set team KPI targets. Contribute to management strategy sessions and benchmarking across the global operations network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 5+ years SML or related experience
- 3+ years supervisory or lead experience
- Project lead experience
- Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular etc.)
- Ability to integrate those into the operation
- Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
- Excellent organizational and people skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software
Desired Qualifications
