Job Summary
Production Planning Associate to create and manage weekly/daily production schedules across multiple lines, optimize order-to-ship fulfillment, and minimize waste. Role combines data analysis with shop-floor collaboration, requiring experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics), BOM/inventory management, and KPI automation (OEE, Schedule Attainment, Scrap Rates). You will liaison with Engineering, Quality, and Operations, lead daily kickoff meetings, coordinate with Procurement to prevent stock-outs, and drive Lean initiatives (SMED, line-layout optimization) to improve throughput while ensuring food-safety/regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
- 2–5 years of experience in a production planning or fulfillment role within a manufacturing environment
- Direct experience in Food & Beverage Manufacturing or 3PL/Contract Manufacturing preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Modeling)
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP software
- Strong understanding of flow of goods through a plant
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Yellow Belt (preferred)
