Production Planner - Tulsa

Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for machined, fabricated, and assembled components; convert sales orders and forecasts into actionable work orders and shop schedules; coordinate with procurement to ensure raw materials and critical components; monitor WIP and adjust schedules in real time to address delays, rework, or priority changes; evaluate capacity constraints across machining centers, welding, heat treat, and inspection; manage bottlenecks; ensure routing, BOMs, and lead times in ERP/MRP systems are accurate; support expediting for high-priority or delayed orders without derailing production flow; collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations on issues impacting schedule; track KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and backlog status; participate in S&OP/demand planning discussions and provide realistic capacity input; comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies; contribute to safety and quality in production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment (oil & gas or heavy industrial preferred)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills (data analysis, scheduling, and reporting)
- Working knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes
