Job Summary
The Production Planner coordinates work and materials in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment, establishes production schedules, resolves issues with production leadership, and monitors open orders to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' Degree with focus on Business, Operations, or Engineering preferred
- Previous Production Planning experience, strongly preferred
- Excellent computer skills. Expert skills in Excel required
- High sense of urgency and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
- Able to manage time and priorities appropriately
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment
- Proficiency using ERP Systems, experience with Oracle preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer service oriented
