Production Planner

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• •Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• •Thorough knowledge of production, supply chain, inventory, and planning principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures
• •Sales order to revenue realization process
• •Integrated enterprise resource management systems
• •Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes and principles, including Lean manufacturing and project management practices
• •Understanding of influences on costs, gross margin, quality, and delivery
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• •Enterprise resource planning (ERP)/material resource planning system (MRP), SAP
• •Strong in MRP Knowledge and Production Planning and/or Material Control background
• •Good understanding of Production/Assembly/Materials Control/Marketing/Customer Service, and Engineering and how they interface with one another
• •Knowledge of production orders, sales orders
• •Knowledge of S&OP and basic financial impacts
• •Ability to problem-solve
• •Ability to concentrate on tasks, make decisions and work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure, deadline oriented environment
• •Ability to prioritize work daily, but be flexible to change as priorities dictate changes
• •Willingness to be flexible with time and adjust to a changing work environment
• •Ability to build and maintain positive relationships, both internally and externally, while maintaining a client service orientation
• •Ability to use sound judgment and discretion in dealing with highly confidential information

• •Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes and principles, including Lean manufacturing and project management practices, and understanding of influences on costs, gross margin, quality, and delivery preferred
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an enterprise resource planning (ERP)/material resource planning system (MRP), SAP preferred
