Job Summary
Review Supply Chain IMR/MRP to determine precut stock replenishment needs and manage source orders with Sales to yield out coils. Combine like items into Job Sets, create efficient setups, and use Job Scheduling to maximize machine efficiency while maintaining delivery dates. Work with Sales, Purchasing, Technical Services, and Plant Management to handle inventory and order issues, ensuring Multi-Process Job Work Orders flow through the plant. Create production plans, expedite material from outside processors, and eliminate aged inventory. This role requires associate's degree or equivalent experience, typing skills, and knowledge of steel product characteristics.

- Inventory valuation knowledge
- Problem solving skills with respect to creating in-process production reports demonstrating cost, waste, and time efficiency, as well as customer expectations and plant limitations
- Ability to recognize workload limitations and assist others whenever needed
- Knowledge of steel product characteristics (including defects) and processing procedures
- Associate's degree in business administration or related field
- One to two years of experience in a production environment
- Formal education or experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated
- Results of a 10-panel drug screening, including marijuana
