Job Summary
Plans and prepares production schedules for the manufacturing of industrial or commercial products; provides inventory support to multiple departments. Plans, coordinates, and maintains the flow of materials and assemblies between work centers; creates and maintains all work orders by job number; prints and releases Tyvek labels for field boxes and coordinates pre-printed data packages. Generates status of work order exceptions using matched receipts and shop floor feedback. Manages receiving errors, physical counts, location errors, and bin restocking issues; handles inventory adjustments, scrap, rework, and expediting replacement parts when needed. Coordinates with Supervisors to provide kits for live parts and items not floor stocked. Balances team and individual responsibilities, fosters collaboration, and supports team success. Works within approved budget and contributes to profits and cost-saving measures; develops and implements efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
- 1-3 years’ of experience with inventory control in a manufacturing environment
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business management or equivalent job experience
- 2-5 years’ of experience with inventory control in a manufacturing environment
- 1 year of experience of management experience
