Production Planner

Job Summary
Develop and manage detailed production plans and schedules while monitoring job progress and coordinating workshop activities. Ensure timely procurement of materials and contractor engagement, maintaining accurate records and visual management systems. Collaborate with technicians, supervisors, and procurement teams to streamline workflows and support continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements when visiting customer, supplier, and mine sites. This role involves a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with an office-based primary schedule but requires hands-on engagement with operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in workshop planning, scheduling, or coordination
- Solid understanding of maintenance workflows and inventory control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and planning tools
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Relevant trade or engineering qualification
- Experience with Maximo or similar ERP systems
- Exposure to underground mining equipment and workshop operations
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical
