Job Summary
Manage production planning based on internal and external customer demand while maintaining safety stock levels and efficiency in the manufacturing plant. Oversee materials purchase orders and delivery tracking, including the creation of stock transfer orders for products shipped but not produced. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and demand planning teams to review line scheduling, assess bill of materials, and analyze reporting data for fill rate and production attainment. Execute material ordering processes by evaluating master data and placing purchase orders, while adhering to days of supply targets and safety stock strategies. Support new product launches and process improvements through system tool utilization and cross-functional communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred
- Prior experience in food/ beverage manufacturing, sourcing or supply chain highly desirable
- 3+ years of SAP experience preferred
- APICs Certified is a plus
