Job Summary
Production Planner needed at Foxconn Assembly, LLC to develop and maintain production plans and schedules, apply SIOP principles, analyze forecasts and capacity constraints, coordinate cross-functional teams (Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics), manage SAP master data (BOMs, recipes, planning parameters), support NPI and ramp activities, monitor inventory and supply risks, drive improvements in planning accuracy, and generate performance reports. Requires solid production planning, demand/supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, SAP ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and 2–3 years in electronics/manufacturing operations; bachelor's degree in a related field; occasional weekend support; may include familiarity with Lean, MRP, ERP, and SIOP concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Procurement, or Manufacturing Operations
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, PCBA, SMT, or high-volume manufacturing environments is strongly preferred
- Experience supporting NPI programs and production ramp activities is a plus
- Strong knowledge of production planning, demand planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience using SAP ERP systems for planning, inventory management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and process discipline
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, MRP, ERP systems, and SIOP processes preferred
- Mandarin language proficiency is a plus
- Occasional weekend support
