Job Summary
Coordinate production workflows for one or multiple products, ensuring maximum performance and minimal delays by determining manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed. Assign workers, schedule shifts, monitor jobs for on-time completion, and address any issues. Gather output data, prepare and submit performance reports, and maintain organized documentation. The role requires proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, strong mathematical abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, along with knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning)
- Experience in a factory manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Strong mathematical and statistical abilities
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience as a production planner
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Desired Qualifications
- Further education or certification is preferred
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts preferred
