Job Summary
Production Planner to manage multi-site production planning across manufacturing sites, optimise supply performance, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include developing supply plans aligned to demand and inventory targets, driving scheduling to minimise downtime, leading site supply review meetings, supporting S&OP, managing intersite stock transfers, and maintaining ERP planning master data. Requires experience in manufacturing planning with strong Excel/ERP skills and stakeholder engagement; APIC or Oliver Wright certification desirable. Travel between Ashburton and Christchurch may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Seasoned experience in supply/production planning or scheduling within the manufacturing industry (Plastics, FMCG or high-speed manufacturing with complex process’)
- Technically savvy with Excel and proficient with ERP systems
- APIC or Oliver Wright certification is desirable but not mandatory
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive decisions
- Interest in continuous improvement and data-driven planning
- Willingness to travel between Ashburton and Christchurch when required
