Job Summary
Production Planner will develop and coordinate production schedules to ensure efficient capacity, on-time delivery, and appropriate inventory levels. Responsibilities include reviewing customer orders and sales requirements, creating production orders aligned with forecasts, managing production resources, coordinating with Purchasing/Operations/Sales to meet minimum inventories, and implementing ERP workflows to meet deadlines. The role emphasizes identifying opportunities to improve processes and control costs, with a focus on ERP/MRP systems and cross-functional collaboration to support manufacturing planning and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) information systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized, focused, and results oriented
- Problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with manufacturing drawings (preferred)
