Job Summary
Production Planner coordinates scheduling and timeliness of the production process for the assigned portfolio, ensuring demand-plan requirements are met by evaluating material, equipment, and staffing availability, creating/modifying SAP process orders, monitoring production, and adjusting the plan as needed. Responsibilities include collaborating with Production Managers/Supervisors to develop efficient production plans, managing inventory levels and safety stock, reviewing forecast demand with Strategic Operations Planner, resolving disruptions, and preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and ERP (SAP) experience; proficiency in communication, time management, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected. Master’s degree and professional certifications (CTBS, CPIM/CSCP) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
- One (1) year of related work experience within tissue banking or medical device industry
- One (1) year of ERP (SAP) experience
- CTBS: Certified Tissue Bank Specialist, American Association of Tissue Banks
- CPIM or CSCP: Association for Supply Chain Management
