Job Summary
Production Planner needed to organize and manage the manufacturing and packaging schedules for an established nutraceutical manufacturer. The role coordinates daily/weekly production plans, minimizes changeovers, aligns with procurement to secure raw materials and packaging, prioritizes manufacturing based on orders, communicates schedule updates, monitors inventory levels, identifies potential supply delays, analyzes production metrics to improve line utilization and throughput, and maintains schedules in ERP/ezGMP or similar systems. This on-site role is near Fort Lauderdale, FL, with relocation assistance available and a compensation range of $80,000–$100,000 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain coordination
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems or inventory management software
- Familiarity with manufacturing changeover reduction strategies
- Understanding of batch manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and manage shifting priorities
- Experience in food, dietary supplement, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience using production scheduling or supply chain planning software
