Job Summary
The Production Planner is responsible for developing and coordinating production schedules to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Purchasing to align production with customer demand and capacity forecasts. Candidates should have at least four years of planning and scheduling experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. This position includes responsibilities for driving process improvements and acting as the primary contact for commitment dates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in planning and scheduling preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience using an Epicor ERP system or four (4) years using integrated (MRP/ERP) system.
- Understanding of master scheduling and forecasting processes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to support effective correspondence with internal as well as external customers.
- Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks to completion.
- Ability to interact with various internal departments.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency using MS Office software i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
