Production Planner II

Job Summary
Production Planner II: Coordinate project planning, material procurement, production scheduling, and ERP system maintenance to support manufacturing and project execution. Collaborates with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Production, Vendors, and Purchasing to ensure projects are planned accurately, materials are ordered and delivered on time, and system data is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include reviewing project scope and vendor quotes, optimizing extrusion usage, releasing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ERP systems (Epicor), generating and managing POs, coordinating with vendors on documentation and delays, ensuring on-time production, communicating project status, and driving continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes. Requires strong ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, Epicor), data analysis skills, lean manufacturing knowledge, and effective cross-functional communication. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree preferred. 3–5 years of manufacturing experience required; 1–3 years of scheduling or production planning experience preferred.
