Job Summary
Production Planner I to develop and maintain a rolling 5-week production schedule aligned with operational priorities, execute delivery order transactions in the ERP system to support daily production cadence, monitor material availability, escalate shortages, and communicate scheduling priorities to operations. The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, utilizing ERP/MRP systems, and contributing to KPI tracking and continuous improvement efforts. Requires 1-2 years of production scheduling experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with the ability to travel to different work locations by personal car. Work environment includes office and manufacturing spaces with exposure to varying plant conditions, and strong emphasis on planning accuracy, prioritization, and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, or similar
- 1-2 years of experience in production scheduling
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and order transaction processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with operations and cross-functional teams
- Basic analytical skills, including Excel and data interpretation
- Ability to follow established planning processes and apply standard logic
- Problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and material issues
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data and transaction execution
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and support continuous improvement
- Willingness to travel to different work locations by personal car
