Production Planner

Job Summary
Develop and maintain raw material and production plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with business objectives. Manage inventory levels within targeted ranges to optimize performance and minimize excess while monitoring short- and long-term production capacities and material constraints. Respond to planning changes by communicating operational and business impacts to key stakeholders and coordinate activities with regional supply planners, operations, and logistics teams. Track, analyze, and report key supply chain metrics including OTIF, DIO, and SLOB. Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives and comply with all required training programs. Regular workplace presence is required to support planning and operational activities, with flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain function
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Knowledge of SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes
- Regular presence at the workplace
- Ability to work additional hours when needed to support production requirements and business needs
Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations within a chemical, industrial, or related production environment
- Experience tracking and reporting supply chain KPIs such as OTIF, DIO, and SLOB
