Job Summary
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability. Lead or support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, aligning production with demand and inventory strategies. Analyze production performance, constraints, and bottlenecks to improve throughput and reduce lead times. Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels and carrying costs while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, finance, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and adjust plans based on real-time data. Maintain and improve ERP/MRP planning parameters and support scenario planning for demand changes and labor constraints. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk through large facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, finite scheduling, and production flow
- Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (e.g., GSS, Business Dynamics, SAP, or similar)
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable production strategies
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to walk through a large manufacturing environment
- U.S citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorization from the U.S. Department of State or Department of Commerce
