Job Summary
Production Planner responsible for coordinating customer communications, scheduling production and shipments based on delivery dates and order priorities, and measuring performance (shipping/delivery, cancellations, invoicing errors). Duties include end-to-end order administration from receipt to shipping and invoicing, maintaining effective customer communications with accurate reporting, managing customer documents and backlog/reschedules, and providing a daily shipping plan. Must collaborate across departments, analyze data to resolve conflicts between customer accounts, and report weekly and monthly metrics (order book accuracy, backlog, delivery performance, bookings, customer satisfaction index). Requires good communication and analytical/problem-solving abilities, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume manufacturing environment; travel may be required; high school plus relevant degree/equivalent qualifications expected.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
- Minimum two years of experience in a commercial role
- Current full passport
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness for foreign travel; overtime expected
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- High school qualifications
