Job Summary
Review Supply Chain IMR/ MRP to determine replenishing needs for precut stock and combine like items into Job Sets. Work with Sales to manage source orders, create Production Sales Orders, and place expediting material from outside processors. Use Job Scheduling to add jobs to equipment lineups, maximizing machine efficiency and maintaining customer delivery dates. Create time and cost efficient setups with clear directions for plant personnel while managing Multi-Process Job Work Orders through the plant. Review aged inventory reports to eliminate aged material and communicate with Sales, Purchasing, Technical Services, and management on inventory and order issues.

- Typing and computer data entry skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Inventory valuation knowledge
- Problem solving skills with respect to creating in-process production reports demonstrating cost, waste, and time efficiency, as well as customer expectations and plant limitations
- Ability to recognize workload limitations and assist others whenever needed
- Knowledge of steel product characteristics (including defects) and processing procedures
- Associate's degree in business administration or related field
- One to two years of experience in a production environment
- Formal education or experience and training when competency in the position is demonstrated
- Results of a 10-panel drug screening, including marijuana
