Production Planner

Job Summary
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand forecasts, inventory targets, and material availability while executing MRP processes and providing packaging projections. Monitor plant output against planned figures, adjust schedules for constraints, and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory to coordinate with stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Procurement to align priorities and ensure seamless production flow. Maintain master data in ERP systems and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires onsite presence with occasional remote availability and extended hours during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and production planning processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of BOM structures, routings, and sub-assembly processes
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with production planning responsibilities
- 2–5 years of experience working with ERP or MRP systems
- Onsite, some availability to work remotely
- May require occasional extended hours during peak production periods or schedule changes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments is a plus
