Job Summary
Production Planner coordinates, schedules, and monitors manufacturing activity for electrical distribution products at Butcher Power Products. Translates released sales orders and demand signals into executable daily and weekly work orders, issues and maintains job travelers and change notices, and ensures material and tooling readiness with Supply Chain. Maintains accurate planning data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), collaborates with Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing for on-time delivery, and produces weekly schedule-adherence reports while driving root-cause resolution of delays and deviations. Core focus areas include scheduling, material readiness, data integrity in D365, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement of scheduling processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, operations management, or industrial engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, materials, or manufacturing coordination
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups)
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
