Production Planner, Base Maintenance

Job Summary
Manage maintenance work packages, associated work orders, and progress reporting while preparing production plans in collaboration with supervisors and engineers. Coordinate with Inspection Supervisors to align schedules with available manpower and resources, liaise with the Regional Material Coordinator for timely parts availability, and monitor progress to adjust plans for operational requirements. Participate in regional and production planning meetings, support long-term modification and heavy maintenance planning in CAMO, and identify risks affecting execution. Produce scorecards, report on base maintenance status and material shortages, and collaborate with the global team to improve planning processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance planning within aviation or another technically complex industry
- Experience working with CMMS Planning Software (preferably AMOS)
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Good understanding of technical documentation
- Strong IT skills, familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Previous experience within the aviation industry
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across departments, functions, and global teams
- Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with a structured approach to work
- Ability to remain calm and effective when managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Strong financial understanding and the ability to plan maintenance activities in a cost-effective and resource-efficient manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
