Production Planner

Job Summary
Plans, schedules and coordinates the movement of resources through the production cycle; translates customer requirements into engineering/production plans; develops and maintains inventory strategies; coordinates quarterly inventory and supplier returns; optimizes production schedules and ramps-up resources; collaborates with sales and materials to align orders with resource availability; manages logistics and transportation to meet delivery expectations; drives forecast accuracy and communicates with stakeholders on schedule changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Typically 5+ years of experience in production planning or related field
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling concepts
- Experience with master production scheduling and inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, materials, production)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to travel as required
