Job Summary

Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules within the ERP/MRP system, balancing customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints to ensure on-time delivery. Prioritize production orders, coordinate with production and warehouse teams, and monitor progress to adjust schedules for changing priorities or material constraints. Calculate accurate Estimated Ship Dates by reviewing inventory and lead times, while communicating updates to sales and customer service. Manage work orders, release sample orders, and identify bottlenecks to support efficient material flow and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, operations, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience using ERP/MRP planning systems (SAP preferred) to create and maintain production schedules, manage capacity, review material requirements, release work orders, and support customer delivery commitments
  • Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, inventory planning, and production control principles within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Ability to analyze production schedules, material requirements, inventory levels, and production capacity to support on-time delivery
  • Ability to interpret Bills of Material (BOMs), production routings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across production, warehouse, inventory, sales, and operations teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adapting to changing business needs
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Candidates who have obtained, are currently pursuing, or are willing to pursue APICS CPIM or CSCP certification will be given favorable consideration

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred
