Job Summary
Coordinate, execute, and maintain production planning by optimizing human and machine resources to meet finished goods volume forecasts. Prepare rolling production schedules using planning tools while adhering to capacity, production, and material availability constraints to minimize customer impacts and last-minute changes. Formulate and analyze demand exception reports for Sales and Operations planning, driving forecast accuracy and process improvements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring standard operating procedures are in place for consistency and high standards. This permanent full-time role is based in Hendon, SA, reporting directly to the Operations Manager at Lietzke Doors, part of the ASSA ABLOY group.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal and Influencing skills
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Capable of working under pressure in a busy production environment
- A good knowledge of materials, glass, timber and sheet metal etc.
- Industry knowledge of assembly and machining methods
- Ability to read and understand workshop drawings
- Completed a Production Certificate (or equivalent)
- demonstrated experience in a complex manufacturing environment
