Job Summary
Production Planner supports development and maintenance of production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Collaborates with Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure material availability, monitor work orders, and drive on-time production execution. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining manufacturing work orders in the ERP system, updating Bills of Materials and routing information, tracking schedule attainment and production progress, coordinating material shortages with stakeholders, generating planning reports, and supporting production readiness across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or related fields
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field & equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis
- Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
