Production Planner and Scheduler

Job Summary
Review and plan production orders in SAP, balancing capacity and optimizing workflow while partnering with buyers to ensure material availability. Schedule and release orders to the shop floor, communicating schedule changes and disruptions to Customer Service. Monitor planning priorities, adjust schedules for business needs, and identify opportunities to improve planning systems and data accuracy. Support continuous-improvement initiatives and create training documentation for ERP troubleshooting. This role supports key performance priorities including safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity within Flow Dry Technology's manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- Production planning or scheduling experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems and fundamental manufacturing operations
- SAP experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
