Production Planner

Job Summary
Develop and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability. Monitor inventory levels, work-in-progress, and material flow. Partner with supply chain and purchasing teams to manage material needs and shortages. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production performance and inventory accuracy. Identify production bottlenecks and support operational problem-solving. Communicate production updates, risks, and recovery plans across teams. Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- ERP/MRP systems experience preferred
- Lean methodology experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and operate with professionalism and accountability
- Ability to operate managerially despite functioning as an individual contributor
- Veterans encouraged to apply
