Job Summary
Coordinate production scheduling and estimation for print projects; serve as the link between clients, sales, and manufacturing to ensure jobs run smoothly from estimate to delivery; schedule and estimate jobs, compare incoming jobs with specs, flag deviations, process POs for outside services, review bindery instructions, create prepress worksheets, coordinate proofs with customers, initiate mailings, track deliveries, coordinate with Purchasing, prepare layouts/camera cards, communicate inefficiencies to sales or clients, oversee quality and production status, collaborate with Estimating on layouts/production plans for cost-effective results, alert Sales/clients to production issues, and report to the Production & Planning Manager. Must have print industry experience, proficiency with MS Office and ERP software (EFI Monarch a plus), strong communication skills, and a high school diploma with 6–9 months of Allied training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6–9 months of Allied training (or equivalent)
- Print experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and ERP software (EFI Monarch a plus)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough knowledge of the printing process, color, design, job planning, and scheduling
