Job Summary
Production Planner coordinates production schedules, maintains ERP data integrity, manages production orders, and supports cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping) to ensure on-time delivery and efficient material flow. Responsibilities include releasing production orders based on demand and capacity, monitoring schedules, maintaining ERP data for orders, inventory, routings, and scheduling, generating reports and metrics, processing ECNs and BOM revisions, supporting inventory accuracy, monitoring material availability, communicating shortages, maintaining quality system documentation (NCMRs, CAPAs), and collaborating across Shipping, Receiving, and Purchasing to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing Coordination, Inventory Control, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain
- Experience working within an ERP/MRP system in a manufacturing environment
