Job Summary
Production Planner to support manufacturing operations through detailed production scheduling, ERP/MRP planning, and inventory control. You will coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and inventory teams to ensure material availability and timely product delivery, utilize ERP/MRP systems to plan production requirements and track orders, analyze production data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements, collaborate with production supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts, and prepare status reports for leadership. Will ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and efficiency. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5–7 years of manufacturing/production scheduling experience, ERP/MRP proficiency, strong Excel skills, US citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD DoW security clearance. Preferred qualifications include 8–10 years of experience and CPIM certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent)
- 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on production scheduling, supply chain coordination, logistics or operations planning
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Cost Point)
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
- Ability to perform moderate physical effort including lifting up to 40 pounds
- Knowledge of safety, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures
