Production - Paint Technician

Job Summary
Inspect wheels for cosmetic defects and paint them to OEM original finish using powder or liquid-based paint. Load and unload ovens, mix and refill paint using specified formulas, and perform remanufacturing tasks to ensure wheels meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, dust-free work area to eliminate contamination while handling heat and wearing protective clothing. This role requires standing or walking for up to 8-10 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing regular bending, stretching, and reaching. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to observe and inspect part quality
- Lift and move totes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and above the head
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and able to access all areas of the building without limitations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience painting in an industrial environment or autobody shop
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Comfortable with handling heat and wearing protective clothing during loading and offloading ovens
- Strong commitment to quality with a genuine care for the product and work
- Professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and a commitment to working in a safe environment
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods while standing
- Physical capability to access all areas of the facility, withstand activities like walking, and standing
- Multi-tasking ability while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
