Job Summary
Pack materials, operate packaging equipment, and load and move supplies while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Perform hourly inspections, run drop tests for bottles, and clear jams from conveyor systems. Discard defective bottles, report quality issues, and ensure proper packing per customer requirements. Maintain a clean work area and wear appropriate PPE. Operate a forklift and complete required training within 90 days of hire. Work 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts with a focus on safety and cross-functional teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer experience
- Forklift operation experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work with moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels
- Must be able to tolerate fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold)
- Must wear appropriate PPE
