Production Packaging Associate - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines. Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling, performing drop tests for designated lines. Immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found. Load, move material, and operate packaging equipment while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Replenish packaging materials and ensure correct labeling and product description in accordance with specific customer requirements. Move finished goods to designated areas and maintain inventory levels to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts. Demonstrate safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies. Work the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:30pm-8:00am) at $20.50/hr with reasonable mandatory overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic computer experience
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I, training within 90 days of hire date
- Reasonable mandatory overtime
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to grasp, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach out, over and below with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and or crawl
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must wear correct PPE
- Must follow safety policies
- Must follow company General Manufacturing Policies

- Must be able to monitor conveyor belts
- Must be able to clear bottle jams from lines
- Must be able to pick up dropped bottles from production floor
- Must be able to place discarded bottles into grinder
- Must be able to inspect the quality of bottles
- Must be able to perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests
- Must be able to immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues
- Must be able to monitor supply levels of packaging materials
- Must be able to replenish packaging materials
- Must be able to ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging
- Must be able to move finished goods to designated area
- Must be able to ensure efficient set up and organization of workstations
- Must be able to maintain inventory levels
- Must be able to restock supplies
- Must be able to follow Good Manufacturing Practices
