Production - Packager/Wrapper

Job Summary
Packager/Wrapper responsible for packaging materials and products on the production line. Duties include lining and padding crates, assembling cartons, wrapping protective material around product, inspecting materials/products/containers at each step, recording weight/time/date/package information on forms, labeling containers, loading materials into packaging equipment, and cleaning work areas. Requires reading English, basic math, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and tolerance for heat and humidity. Role operates on 8-hour shifts (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Mon–Fri) with possible overtime. Completion of Nor-Ell job training is required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Nor-Ell job training, with demonstrated proficiency in the job
- Able to read and understand English
- Able to count and do simple math (primarily addition)
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to tolerate high heat and humidity while doing physical activity
- Have free range of motion - bending, stooping, twisting, walking, balancing
- People who have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals should avoid this position
- Preferred Experience: Previous manufacturing environment experience
