Job Summary
Identify and champion production optimization initiatives to reduce downtime and increase efficiency across operations. Partner with production engineering, operations, and Digital Advancement teams to develop technology-enabled solutions, automate workflows, and deploy AI-enabled tools. Lead efforts to expand the adoption of Leucipa and edge computing capabilities while supporting the Remote Operations Center's evolution. Track initiative performance, communicate results to stakeholders, and coordinate resource planning to drive measurable business value. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering and 2+ years of production experience. Expand Energy Corporation focuses on discovering and developing unconventional oil and natural gas assets onshore in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- One of the following: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university - Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) program, or Professional Engineer (PE) license, or Master's degree - from accredited university - Master's of Engineering degree from a program in which the correlating Bachelor's degree is accredited by the ABET EAC
- 2 years related work experience in production engineering, operations engineering, or production operations
- Strong understanding of unconventional oil and gas production systems and optimization practices
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and execute production improvement opportunities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to lead initiatives across functional boundaries
- Experience with production surveillance, optimization, or analytics platforms
- Familiarity with Expand's Leucipa platform
- Experience working with SCADA, operational technology, or automation systems
- Exposure to reporting, dashboarding, and workflow automation tools
- Interest in AI, machine learning, and digital transformation initiatives
