Production Operators (Heavy Lifting Involved): 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift

Job Summary
Conduct production operations by mixing doughs, monitoring equipment, and ensuring continuous line flow while adhering to strict food safety, GMP, and allergen protocols. Read recipes, troubleshoot process issues, and maintain accurate lot number documentation through proper bin cleaning and FIFO practices. Perform physical tasks including standing for full shifts, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Report immediate food safety or quality issues to supervisors and follow all plant safety guidelines. Requires experience operating production machinery and understanding FDA guidelines; bilingual skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays
- Must have experience with operating and maintaining the machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently
- Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
- Must have understanding of FDA guide lines and company policies
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to work in a standing position for entire shift and climb steps and ladders
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Ability to troubleshoot process related issues within the boundaries of the recipe
- Ability to use digital scales and have a working knowledge of scale functions
- Ability to mix doughs according to recipe. Have a working knowledge of the mixer, using the timer and batch recipe system
- Follow FIFO (First in First Out), Mix lot number and documentation accuracy
- Clean & Refill ingredient bins and label the bins with the correct lot number
- Mathematical skills
- Bilingual is preferred
