Job Summary
Production Operator on a Weekend Shift responsible for setting up, loading and operating production machines in Spooling, Stranding, or Closing, mounting and adjusting dies and tension, threading machines, and ensuring product quality per specifications. Requires use of micrometers, tape measures, feeler gauges, and basic hand tools; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand for long shifts; adherence to safety and quality standards; English fluency, basic computer skills, and mechanical aptitude. Includes on-the-job training with probationary period and monthly incentive opportunities. Works within a manufacturing environment with temperature extremes and continuous shift scheduling (Fri-Sun, 5a-5p, with potential training on day shift). Location: Sedalia, MO; in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- Basic computer skills
- Possess math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Must have the ability to learn to use and read micrometers, tape measure, feeler gauge, and basic hand tools
- Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10-12 hour shifts
- Must be able to push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions with temperatures ranging from 40-100+ degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment
- Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
