Job Summary
Make and repackage compressed and liquefied industrial gases into high-pressure cylinders, performing inspections, maintenance, and ultrasonic/hydro testing. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and chain hoists to load/unload cylinders from trucks and transfer them within the plant. Identify, sort, and label cylinders for efficient refilling, while completing daily fill logs, inventory records, and load sheets. Perform cylinder cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and valving/shot blasting as needed. Notify supervisors of equipment defects or loading issues and report accidents promptly. Coordinate filling and testing of B lab products, adhering to safety protocols and working flexible hours to meet delivery deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Forklift certification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience with industrial gases and/or required training
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented and able to interact with the public in a professional manner
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs and management expectations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and be detailed-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS, and procedure manuals
- Possess basic mathematic and written skills
