Job Summary
Operate production equipment while troubleshooting and adjusting to meet product and quality specifications. Record production data accurately and apply basic maintenance skills using hand tools to service machinery. Adhere strictly to safety and housekeeping requirements, actively participating in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Interpret verbal and written instructions, take measurements to verify product specs, and maintain regular attendance. Adapt to shiftwork, overtime, and weekend assignments as scheduling requires.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules
- Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment
- Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting
- Proficiency at taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications
- Possess basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools and how to properly use them (Hammer, wrench, screwdrivers, pliers, putty knife, etc.)
- Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable
